About The Garden
๐ผMeet The Founder
Teja Vempati is a healthcare professional working in patient care coordination and hospital operations, and the founder of The Girl Garden.
The Girl Garden was born from a simple yet deeply meaningful vision: to create spaces where girls and women feel seen, supported, and confident enough to grow into who they want to become.
Rooted in shared experiences, this vision has continued to bloom into workshops, conversation circles, mentorship, and community initiatives designed to help girls and women grow with intention and lead with confidence.
Our Mission
To empower girls and women at every stage of life with the skills, community, and confidence needed to lead with purpose and impact.
Why It Matters
Research shows that many girls experience a significant drop in confidence during adolescence - patterns that often carry into adulthood. Too often, girls and women are taught to shrink themselves, soften their voices, or stay silent to meet expectations. The Girl Garden exists to challenge that narrative by creating spaces where girls and women feel safe to explore who they are, speak up without apology, and bloom in their own season.
Our Pillars
Our Belief
The Girl Garden believes empowered girls and women create stronger, healthier, and more equitable communities.
Why the Daisy?
The daisy represents resilience, simplicity, and growth.
Daisies grow where theyโre planted โ even in places they werenโt expected or welcomed.
For The Girl Garden, the daisy symbolizes the belief that girls and women can grow, lead, and thrive in any space when they are supported, rooted, and given the opportunity to bloom.
It reflects our commitment to helping girls and women grow with confidence, clarity, and purpose โ wherever their journey begins.
